Since the reason we all dive is to "see" as much as we can underwater, it makes sense to use the right mask and prescription lenses or contacts to achieve the best vision possible. Why spend all that money on dive gear if you can't see? Dr. MacPhee loves to dive and understands the visual challenges faced by divers. Maybe it's hard to read your gauges or dive computer, or maybe it's blurry far away. You may feel like you have tunnel vision and can't see your buddy. There are special mega-masks available to give you full panoramic vision without the blind spots of "side windows". Other masks have a magnifier built in to help middle-agers read gauges. Several masks can be purchased with factory made Rx lenses. Occasionally, custom lenses must be bonded to your mask to help you see well. Some divers prefer to wear contacts while diving and doing other sports. Whatever the answer, it doesn't have to be expensive. How do you know what's best for you? Ask Dr. MacPhee to show you our assortment of masks and prescription options that will maximize your enjoyment while diving. We are Portland area dealers for several types of prescription dive masks and can even let you demo them before buying. Call Kelly @ (503) 492-2020 and "see" what you've been missing!
